About Me
I’m Maks Lavrov, owner of Maximus Homes together with my wife, Susanna. Born in Estonia, I spent all of my adult life in Spokane, Washington, building both deep community ties and a practical foundation in the construction trades. The son of immigrant parents, I was taught early the value of discipline, persistence, and an uncompromising work ethic. Those principles took shape in my teenage years working alongside my father in a wide range of construction roles — trenching and excavating, framing and rough carpentry, finish work and painting — experiences that provided a hands‑on, end‑to‑end education in residential building long before I ever picked up a blueprint.
After graduating high school, I served my community for a decade as an EMT, a role that reinforced the importance of reliability, clear communication, and steady problem solving under pressure. In 2017 I returned to the building trades and founded Precision General Contracting, channeling my field experience and service mindset into full‑scale residential projects. In 2024 I transitioned the company to Maximus Homes to better reflect our expanded focus on custom homebuilding and long‑term performance.
Although the business name evolved, our core commitments remain unchanged: quality craftsmanship, honest communication, and individualized service. We design and construct custom homes that are engineered to last — integrating proven construction methods, energy‑wise building science, and practical detailing that enhance comfort. We also offer remodeling services to modernize existing homes.
My personal goal is straightforward and uncompromising: to deliver a distinctively crafted home you’ll be proud to live in — a home I can put my name on. Every Maximus Homes project reflects that promise: thoughtful design, durable materials, and meticulous execution from site prep to final finish.
We look forward to working with you.
